Police take No Further Action against Quentin’s client in Rape allegations.

Mr TR was accused by his daughter of historic allegations of sexual abuse, including sexual assault and rape. TR vehemently denied any such impropriety and wished to get matters dealt with at the earliest possible stage.

Despite being at the beginning stage of criminal proceedings TR instructed specialist Criminal Barrister Quentin Hunt to look after his interests. This was primarily on the basis of Quentin’s reputation for fighting to get cases dropped by prosecuting authorities at an early stage.

Following the interview, speaking with potential witnesses and considering Quentin’s’ representations the police made the decision that they would be taking No Further Action against Quentin’s client. The investigation was formally closed and Quentin’s client was able to carry on with his life.
