Quentin secures acquittals for client on ten counts of indecent exposure and three counts of sexual assault.

Mr BB was accused of multiple sexual offences that were said to have been committed late at night in North London. He was said to have approached lone women and exposed his genitalia as well as having sexually assaulted others. He denied the offences and recruited specialist Criminal Barrister Quentin Hunt to assist him.

The allegations against Mr BB were wide ranging and difficult to deal with, as the allegations were made by ten separate women who were not known to each other. The offences put forward by the Crown were Exposure contrary to section 66(1) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and sexual assault contrary to section 3 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

BB contested the allegations, and a trial was held at Snaresbrook Crown Court over 5 days. During the trial Quentin was able to explore the evidential problems in the prosecution case as well as test the evidence of the complainants in cross examination, highlighting problems and inconsistencies in their accounts.

At the conclusion of the trial, Not Guilty verdicts were entered in respect of the 3 counts of sexual assault by order of the Judge, and the Jury delivered unanimous Not Guilty verdicts in respect of all ten counts of indecent exposure. Mr BB was naturally very pleased with the result.
